A few years ago a friend of mine mentioned that he was going to Idaho for vacation. My immediate response was “Really? Why would you want to go to Idaho for vacation?”
In retrospect I should have thought about my wording before unintentionally bashing his vacation plans, but the question did reflect my true impression of Idaho. I am no less ashamed to admit that most of what I knew of Idaho came from the movie “Napoleon Dynamite.”
However I recently had to go to Idaho to take a training course and now….
I think I owe Idaho an apology.
