Countdown to Halloween: Pumpkin Crack

This recipe circulated through my family last fall and quickly earned itself the name Pumpkin Crack. In my not-very-humble opinion it is the quintessential Halloween party recipe for the following reasons:

1. It involves Pumpkin.
2. It is stupidly easy to make.
3. It is practically guaranteed to give you diabetes.

Disclaimer: We started calling it “Pumpkin Crack” for a reason.

The only picture I could get before it was devoured.

1 large can pumpkin pie filling
1 8 oz container of Cool Whip
1 large vanilla instant pudding mix

Mix the three ingredients together. Serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or ginger snaps.

This recipe will make enough to feed an entire horde of undead so long as they have resurrected themselves from the grave in search of dessert and not brains.
